An authentic log cabin nestled beside the tranquil Cwmere stream. This historic retreat commemorates the Women’s Timber Corps who lived and worked here during WWII, alongside miners and farmers who shaped the local landscape.

The cabin is surrounded by ancient trees, rock formations, and abundant wildlife. Dog friendly.

What a fantastic 3 night stay myself and my dog Henry had at Twlc Trefor! A beautiful rustic retreat with a superb beach for Henry to walk on at Ynyslas. So many places nearby to see Borth, Aberystwyth, etc... This is a beautiful and unusual holiday lot with a lovely chilly penguin to light. Stunning views of open countryside when you wake in the morning. Lovely seating areas outside to enjoy breakfast or an evening glass of wine. Catrin is a wonderful host who has thought of everything with a lovely welcome: eggs, Welsh cakes, water, tea, coffee, etc... Just lovely little details. This holiday let is also perfect for the solo traveller and just so accommodating of dogs also. The village pub was also lovely with very welcoming locals and superb chips! We'll definitely be back in the Autumn. This place will be magical in all the seasons.
